Monthly giving program

2507 Club members provide consistent, dependable support for The Patchwork Quilt and those we serve. As a member, you can establish a monthly "intention" and select a payment method (check or electronic fund transfer). You can change your sponsorship arrangements at any time. For more information on how to give our kids the stability and consistency they need through 2507 Club monthly giving program, call Tim Dornfeld at 612-529-3125 ext 106.

Reasons to join a monthly giving club like the 2507 Club.

  1. Your support matters. You'll know that your consistent, dependable support is providing that same consistent and dependability to children and families in North Minneapolis. There are no strings attached. We ask only for a monthly intention - an amount you hope to give each month. We welcome your partnership at whatever level feels right to you, for as long as you choose.
  2. It's convenient. Most 2507 Club sponsors ask us to make a monthly deduction from their bank account. There's no easier way to support this important work.
  3. You help us save money. Giving through our monthly sponsorship program saves valuable administrative costs. That means more of your dollars directly help the kids.
  4. You can change your sponsorship anytime. Because situations change over time, we make it easy for you to change your sponsorship arrangement. You may change your giving level or cancel your sponsorship anytime with a single phone call.

Tribute Gifts

Honor gifts

Honor gifts provide an alternative to traditional gifts for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and holidays. Instead of purchasing a set of towels or blender for a newly married couple, for example, guests can give to a charitable organization in their honor.

Memorial gifts

Memorial gifts honor the memory of someone who has passed on. In lieu of sending flowers, those wishing to show sympathy to the loved ones of a recently deceased person can make a gift to a chosen charity.

For more information

As each gift comes in, an acknowledgement card is sent to the donor and the person or couple being honored or, in the case of memorials, their next-of-kin. For more information on honor or memorial gifts call or email Erik Pettersen at 612-529-3125 ext. 106.

Gifts of Stock - donate stock

Giving stock held more than 12 months offers a two-fold tax savings. First, you avoid paying capital-gains tax on the increase in value of your stock. In addition, you receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift. Subtracting the tax savings from what you originally paid for the stock can result in a gift that costs just pennies on the dollar. This is an excellent vehicle for stock that has appreciated substantially in value.
